The Govt of India with the intention to bring transparency in the real estate business by insisting mandatory disclosure of project details to the property buyers and conducting the sale process strictly through agreement to be executed between buyers and sellers. The authority will intervene when breach of contract happens and shall impose appropriate penalty on the defaulters. All prescribed real estate projects should get registered with the Authority. No advertisements shall be issued before registering with the Authority. No advance or deposits shall be accepted without registering the project with the authority and executing agreement with buyers. All real estate agents should get registered with the Authority.
